Religious background Sunni(i never knew that until quite recently) - Muslim - swinging between practicing and semi-practicing. Need to pray more regularly, the rest i do with pleasure - and the veil is not part of the islam i believe in. I am quite a strong believer, and i think being Muslim means being christian and jewish as well - so don't go offending any of the 3 in front of me :)
People think i do not look muslim, and people who do know that i am always dismiss me as a non-believer just coz i am not veiled, and dont advertise my religion and i have a drink every now and then.

The thing I love the most about Ramadan the short working hours, the gathering of people and the feeling of equality among everyone
The hardest/most annoying thing about Ramadan the change of routine and of course the weight gain - 2-3 kilos on average
What I want to get out of Ramadan this year (learning/spiritual etc...) start praying more regularly and continue for the rest of my life i hope!
My best Ramadan memory having iftar with fou, roudy and manaa on the corniche in alexandria just the 4 of us and noone else at sight! and the long political discussions with my dad over fetaar when it's just the two of us - he always makes tehina and i love it!
